Biography
I am a graduate student of English Literature at Northern Arizona University. My interests include the nineteenth-century novel, specifically the gothic and sensation genres, and how these texts inform us about Victorian cultural studies. My research also focuses on how Victorian genre novels intersect with queer theoretical approaches, as well as the cult reception of iconic writers such as Jane Austen and the Bronte sisters.
I have experience in teaching multiple modalities of composition courses, as well as providing writing tutoring to numerous programs of study, such as undergraduate degrees and Doctorate of Psychology degrees.
I have academic publications that focus on the Victorian novel and British women writers. I also have given multiple presentations at various regional and national academic conferences highlighting my current research.
